Al Astora
Fragrance notes
Al Astora is for the person who wants oud without distraction. It is a single idea held up to the light, not a blend that shifts gears to please a crowd. The argument for wearing it is its commitment to one material, presented in a way that stays close to the wood itself.
Nouf Al Qahtani composed this release with oud in every layer. The top and heart carry oud, while the base settles into Indian oud. Because the notes do not change course, the fragrance feels steady rather than transitional. The fresh spicy accord adds a slight lift, but the oud remains the focus from first contact to last.
Some wearers will find this narrow scope limiting. A perfume that refuses to evolve can feel repetitive to someone who enjoys a complex journey across citrus, florals, and resin. If you prefer a scent that tells a long story with many characters, this direct approach will seem too plain.
It is a carved block of dark wood sitting in a room where everything else has been cleared away.
