Galbanum adds a green, slightly bitter lift that stops the pineapple from leaning fully into candy, and the heart slowly reveals a gently spiced warmth through nutmeg and lily-of-the-valley. That floral note is clean and faintly soapy, not heady, which keeps the cacao from becoming too heavy. As the deeper woods emerge, cedar brings a dry, pencil-shaving crispness that plays against the creamier sandalwood, while patchouli anchors the blend with an earthy, dark finish.
