Character
Rose sits at the front, soft and slightly powdery, with ylang-ylang adding a creamy yellow warmth that feels lifted rather than heavy. Jasmine enters soon after, its white petals brightening the floral heart while patchouli brings an earthy, balsamic depth underneath. Sandalwood grounds the base with a smooth, woody finish that ties the flowers to the soil. The patchouli here is not sharp or medicinal. It is rounded, dark, and quietly persistent.
The overall mood feels suited to a candlelit room where low light deepens every color and wood panels hold the warmth of the day. Powdery accords soften the edges of the spice, so the blend never turns aggressive or loud. There is a chypre structure beneath the florals, giving the composition a slightly mossy shadow even without green notes present. Ylang-ylang leans tropical, yet the rose keeps it elegant and restrained.
