Teakwood Essence
Our take

A low wooden table holds a bowl of crushed red berries beside a cup of hot cardamom tea. The air around them carries benzoin and amber, thick and resinous, with gurjan balsam adding a deep, slightly medicinal smoothness. Teakwood essence grounds the fruit, turning the bright sourness into something heavier and more settled. Vanilla softens the edges without making the scene sweet in a simple way. The warmth of the spices sits close to the fruit, neither rising above it nor disappearing beneath it. Freshness lingers in small bursts, then gives way again to the resin. Everything in the room smells of the same mixture, the berries and the wood and the spice all occupying the same space at once, no single element stepping forward for long before the others pull it back into the center of the air, the amber and the balsam wrapping the cardamom in a layer that feels dense and slightly dark, the red berries still visible in the scent even as the teakwood
