The sun sits high over a stone courtyard where a single clay bowl holds fresh rose petals beside a pot of crushed geranium leaves. Someone brushes past the arrangement and the air turns floral, the rose soft and dewy while the geranium adds a green, slightly peppery edge. The petals feel cool to the touch, the leaves release a sharp herbal snap, and the warm air carries both scents through the open archway.
Smoke begins to curl from a small bundle of incense resting on the far wall, its resinous gray trail wrapping around the flowers. Patchouli grounds the scene with an earthy, damp-wood depth that keeps the petals from feeling light. The smoke settles into the greenery, creating a space that smells of aromatic herbs, warm spice, and balsamic resin all at once.
The stone floor holds the heat as agarwood and sandalwood rise from the shadows, smooth and dark with a faintly animalic musk curling underneath. Benzoin adds a golden, amber sweetness that glows against the wood. The courtyard smells of rose, smoky incense, and rich balsamic wood.
