Cade oil and coffee CO2 strike first, dry and resinous, with clary sage pulling the opening toward a cool green edge. This is not a sweet coffee gourmand. The bitterness feels intentional, like walking past a woodshop where someone is sanding fresh timber next to a cup of dark roast. It is sharp, clean, and unmistakably aromatic from the first spray.
Sandalwood enters and softens the texture, letting jasmine add a faint floral lift that never turns powdery. Haitian vetiver and opoponax ground the heart, giving the wood a faint amber warmth that suits a quiet street after sunset when the air turns crisp. The mood is contemplative and slightly formal, comfortable on a jacket lapel during a long evening out in cool weather.
White musk and ambroxan hold the final shape, keeping the profile musky and softly spicy without losing the fresh bite of the opening.
