Fragrance notes
Character
The sun sits low over a quiet courtyard where stone walls hold the day's warmth. A glass of cold water sits on a metal table next to a bowl of sliced mandarin oranges and fresh rhubarb stalks. Pink pepper drifts through the air first, bright and slightly sharp, cutting through the heavy afternoon heat.
Ambrette rises from the skin with a soft, musky texture that feels closer to fabric than to flower. Jasmine adds a creamy white floral layer that rests gently against the citrus, while grapefruit keeps the heart lean and clean. The air smells aromatic and faintly spicy, never loud, never thin.
Benzoin and tolu balsam arrive with a golden amber weight that wraps around the vanilla. White musk pulls the sweetness toward something powdery and dry. The blend feels warm and intimate, a mix of citrus, amber, and floral notes that sit close to the skin in a smooth, continuous line.
The scent lingers in the courtyard as the light shifts, the vanilla and balsam mixing with the last trace of mandarin and the quiet hum of ambrette, the pepper still faintly present near the wrist
