Our take

No Faith In Love opens with a snap of bitter orange and pink pepper that cuts through a damp green grass accord. White honey and ripe peach soften the edges without turning the entrance syrupy, while green tea keeps the air around it crisp. The heart is a dense, slightly powdery white floral that leans heavily on jasmine in several forms, with lily-of-the-valley and gardenia adding a cool, watery lift. Rose and peony broaden the bouquet, and a thread of galbanum maintains the green character from the opening. Wild lavender and mimosa introduce a faint herbal softness before the base takes over. Benzoin and vanilla provide a warm, resinous foundation that feels smooth rather than heavy. French labdanum and tonka bean add an amber glow, with sandalwood and Virginia cedar giving the drydown a dry, polished wood texture. Musk wraps the entire composition in a clean, slightly fuzzy veil.

The fragrance smells like walking through a greenhouse after a cold rain, when the air is thick with wet stems and expensive soap. It suits someone who enjoys a classic white floral but wants the greenery to remain present throughout. The one drawback is that the sheer number of floral notes creates a uniform mass where individual petals get lost. The jasmine, rose, neroli, and magnolia blend so completely that the heart lacks a clear focal point, making the perfume feel a bit anonymous once the initial citrus fades.
