Sapore di Baci
Fragrance notes
Character
Sapore di Baci is for the person who walks out the door with a scarf in one hand and a light jacket in the other. It suits a morning that starts cool and turns warm by noon, when the air feels clean and the light is bright but not heavy. This is a fragrance for movement through a day that changes as it goes, not for sitting still in a dark room. The wearer wants something that feels put together without trying too hard.
The opening brings mint, spearmint, lemon, lime, mandarin orange, black currant, chamomile, and pepper into a bright, green, aromatic rush. The heart gathers lily-of-the-valley, ylang-ylang, gardenia, jasmine, freesia, orchid, lotus, and rose into a white floral and floral middle that stays soft rather than loud. The base rests on guaiac wood, sandalwood, patchouli, vanilla, oakmoss, vetiver, cypress, cedar, amber, and musk, giving a woody, earthy, powdery, sweet foundation that keeps the citrus from floating away.
Composed by Sergey Karov and launched in 2019, this Edgardio Chilini release balances fresh spicy and citrus energy with a grounded woody drydown. It suits someone who likes a green, aromatic start and a floral heart but wants the reassurance of sandalwood and amber underneath. The whole picture is a path through a garden where the sun hits the leaves and the air smells of crushed herbs and clean earth.
