The katrafay brings a dry, resinous edge that keeps the opening from leaning sweet, while the bergamot stays bright and clean. It smells like walking into a grove where the air is cool and the leaves still hold morning water.
Jasmine and manuka arrive quickly and soften the citrus without burying it. The jasmine is airy rather than heady, and the manuka adds a honeyed, slightly medicinal nuance that keeps the floral heart from turning powdery. Violet leaf anchors the base with a crushed-green scent that pulls the whole composition toward damp earth and fresh stems.
Aqua Sancta stays firmly in the light, aromatic lane and never tries to deepen into something resinous or warm. The blend is cohesive and natural, but it lacks a contrasting weight to give it dimension. Without a richer base, the scent can feel a bit one‑note once the violet leaf settles in.
