Cambodian oud and patchouli take over the drydown with a dark, medicinal woodiness. The vanilla and dates are present, but they feel heavy and sticky rather than creamy. It smells like a forest floor after rain, mixed with a thick, spiced fruit preserve. The saffron threads through the base notes and gives the whole composition a dry, leathery heat.
This is a fragrance for someone who likes their scents loud and slightly aggressive. It does not try to be pretty or approachable. The mango and plum are buried deep under the heavy resins and balsamic accords, so do not expect a tropical or juicy vibe. It smells expensive and old-school, like a vintage coat made of heavy brocade. The person who wears this enjoys filling up a room. It is far too much for a hot day or a tight, crowded office. If you usually reach for light citrus or clean laundry musks, this will feel suffocating and overwhelming.
