The sun has just set over a quiet courtyard where stone walls still hold the day's warmth. You lean against a cedar bench with a slice of ripe peach in one hand and a cup of Earl Grey in the other. The air carries a bright citrus lift from the bergamot, softened by the fruit's juice, while a resinous benzoin note rises like steam from a cup. Beneath that, the texture shifts. A suede jacket brushes your arm, releasing a gentle leather scent that mingles with earthy patchouli and a heavy vanilla. The vanilla here is not a sugary topping but a dense, amber-colored syrup that coats the woody cedar underneath. It creates a powdery, warm spicy atmosphere that feels settled and still.
The composition is rich and cohesive, yet the peach note sometimes reads a bit too synthetic against the natural resin. It creates a slight plastic edge in the opening that distracts from the beautiful suede and benzoin heart. This artificial fruitiness clashes with the expensive feel of the base, making the transition feel slightly uneven. The promise of a deep, woody amber is there, but the top layer does not quite match the quality of the dry foundation.
