Character
Verbena and bergamot give this Eauk release a bright, slightly rough citrus opening that feels like cold air hitting a warm kitchen. The pepper here is not a background hum. Pink pepper and black pepper push forward together, sharp and dry, while cardamom adds a green, almost herbal edge to the spice.
Cacao and amber take over the middle, but they stay dry rather than sugary. Rock rose and saffron pull the sweetness toward a resinous, slightly medicinal warmth that suits a heavy sweater and a quiet street after rain. Lavender sits underneath, keeping the spice from feeling too dense.
Opoponax and benzoin leave a resinous film on the skin that smells like a wooden bowl filled with whole spices sitting next to a bar of dark chocolate on a wool blanket.
