Pinocchio
Fragrance notes
Character
Peach sits at the center of this blend, soft and rounded against the grain of the wood. It is not a bright, juicy fruit. It feels dried, almost velvet in texture, lending a gentle sweetness to the air.
Saffron threads through the composition with a warm, slightly metallic glow. It lifts the heavier elements without sharpening them. The spice feels intimate here, held close by the surrounding earthy materials rather than broadcasting outward.
Cedar and vetiver provide a firm, dry foundation that keeps the fruit from feeling playful. Sandalwood and palo santo add a creamy, resinous smoke that lingers on the fabric of a coat worn during a walk through wet leaves. The scent stays with you through the day, though it remains quiet against the skin.
Anh Ngo composed a fragrance that feels like standing in a wood-paneled room while holding a piece of fruit. The air is still, the light is low, and the only movement comes from the slow fading of the spice. It is a carved figure resting on a mantle.
