Sage adds a green, slightly dusty touch that keeps the opening from feeling like a sugar shop. Honey and tobacco soon take over, thick and golden, the honey smooth rather than sticky. Geranium brings a faint floral lift that stops the heart from collapsing into a heavy block, and guaiac wood gives the smoke a dry, pencil shaving texture that feels natural on the skin.
The person across from you leans in to hear a story and notices a scent that stays within that small circle, never announcing itself to the whole table.
