Despite the name, Halloween Halloween has nothing gothic about its opening: violet and sea notes arrive first, cool and green, with banana leaf adding a slightly tropical twist that gives the marine side real character. The heart repeats violet alongside magnolia, lily-of-the-valley, and tuberose, building a powdery white floral that leans soft rather than sharp, with a touch of pepper running through it for edge. Incense arrives late with sandalwood, vanilla, and myrrh, and that base is the real surprise: warm, resinous, and amber-toned against all that cool violet up top.
That contrast between the marine violet opening and the incense-heavy base is the whole point of the fragrance, and it holds together better than the name would suggest. Someone drawn to violet who wants it paired with something darker and more resinous than a typical powdery treatment will find real value here.
Longevity wears an unhurried, middle-of-the-road pace, present through a day out without extra fuss. Sillage forms a gentle, close ring around the wearer, felt mainly by whoever stands close. Spring and summer suit the top notes best, though the incense base gives it enough weight to work into a cooler evening too.
