Our take

The fruit arrives in a bright rush of peach and green apple, the grapefruit sharpening the edges so the sweetness never turns flat. Freesia and orange blossom drift through the middle, their white petals softened by iris that leaves a faint powdery film on the air. Praline sits heavy at the base, its candy weight anchored by patchouli and a clean musk that keeps the blend from floating away entirely. The room smells like a bowl of sliced fruit placed on a dressing table where someone has just finished applying loose powder.

The composition leans hard into its gourmand side, and that is where it stumbles. The praline note reads more like sugar syrup than a nuanced confection, and the lactonic accord pushes the blend toward something cloying rather than comforting. It suits a cooler evening when the air is already heavy, but in a warm space the sweetness becomes too much to wear comfortably. The patchouli tries to ground it, yet the balance tips toward candy and stays there.
