Character
The opening feels crowded. Bergamot and lemon try to lift the composition, but cinnamon and pepper arrive at the same moment and push the citrus into the background before it can breathe. The blend is warm and a little heavy from the first spray, leaning on spice rather than freshness. Rose and cloves sit close to the skin, wrapped in patchouli and sandalwood that smell dry and slightly powdery. Geranium adds a green edge that never fully opens, staying tucked beneath the heavier woods. White woods give the heart a clean, pale structure, though the spices keep the mood dim and enclosed.
A small courtyard is lit by a single hanging lamp. Stone walls hold the warmth of the day, and the air is still. Someone stands near the door, wearing a sweater with rolled sleeves, and the scent sits in the space between the fabric and the cool night air. Amber and musk rest at the base, smooth and quiet, with no sharp edges. The blend feels intimate and contained, moving through the evening like a low voice in a room that has gone silent. Powdery notes soften the woods, and the cinnamon accord lingers in the fabric, steady and close.
