That fizzy opening quickly gives way to a heart that feels like a rum-soaked fruitcake left out at a Caribbean Christmas party: cinnamon, honey, davana, and immortelle all wrestling with red wine for attention. The dry down is where the fragrance finally settles into its skin, a warm, balsamic blend of benzoin, vanilla, and sandalwood, with patchouli and rock rose adding a dusty, resinous depth.
