Our take

Celestia Blu opens with a bright, clean bergamot that feels like sunlight hitting a warm stone terrace. Ambroxan sits right beside it, giving the citrus a dry, mineral edge that keeps the start from feeling like a standard shower gel. The heart leans into amber and ambergris, creating a golden, slightly animalic warmth that moves through jasmine without ever turning floral or soft. It is a resinous, masculine warmth that stays close to the skin and avoids the powdery turn that often comes with amber-heavy blends. Cashalox and musk in the base pull the composition toward a smooth, woody finish, while patchouli adds a dark, earthy anchor that stops the amber from dominating completely. The overall impression is a bright, golden wood that feels modern and composed, designed for clear skies and open air rather than dim rooms.

The synthetic side of the ambroxan is prominent throughout and can feel a bit sharp if you expect natural depth. It lacks the rounded, evolving character that makes a scent feel alive on the skin. For a fragrance that promises a rich amber heart, it stays remarkably thin in the middle, with the jasmine and ambergris providing texture in name only. The patchouli is present but muted, doing little more than adding weight to the drydown. It is a clean, safe execution that captures a mood well, yet it offers little beyond that initial bright impression.
