Once the top notes recede, the heart reveals a distinct coffee accord paired with narcissus and orris. The coffee is dark and bitter, while the narcissus adds a yellow floral quality that keeps the blend from becoming too dry. The orris contributes a powdery texture that bridges the gap toward the base. Here, cedar and sandalwood provide a sturdy woody foundation, with vanilla smoothing the edges and vetiver adding a clean, earthy finish. The overall impression is green, aromatic, and balsamic.
