Our take

Bontà opens with a sharp citrus spray that can feel a little thin before the rest of the composition catches up. The peach and the two orange varieties arrive first, bright and a bit loud, while the cardamom sits quietly underneath without doing much heavy lifting at the start. It is a slightly unbalanced entrance that leans on sugar and zest before the deeper materials have a chance to speak.

The heart brings rose and white flowers into that citrus space, joined by cinnamon and cloves. The spices here are warm and noticeable, but they do not completely cover the fruit. The floral side stays soft rather than heady, and the cinnamon adds a dry edge that keeps the petals from feeling too lush. It is a busy middle section where several accords compete for attention at once.

Sandalwood and tonka bean form the base, adding a creamy woodiness and a smooth sweetness that finally grounds the earlier brightness. The tonka leans powdery, which matches the rose more than the citrus, so the later stages feel warmer and more rounded than the opening. The accord list promises a lot, and the base is where those pieces finally settle into a single direction.

The result is a fragrance that moves from sharp fruit to warm spice and woody sweetness across its wear. The citrus never fully disappears, so the sandalwood and tonka always have a bright companion. It suits cooler days when a mix of fruit, flower, and spice feels appropriate, though the opening may test patience before the better parts arrive
