Posies opens with a bright spray of mandarin orange and grapefruit that feels like walking into a sunlit garden after a rain shower. The citrus is immediate and cheerful, giving the fragrance a clean start that lifts the mood without feeling sharp. It stays in the fresh territory rather than leaning into sour or bitter edges, which makes the opening approachable for someone who usually finds citrus too loud.
Jasmine and orris form a soft floral heart that turns the scent powdery and gentle. The orris adds a faint rooty texture that keeps the white flowers from floating away completely. Cedar and amber in the base give just enough warmth to stop the composition from feeling like pure soap, while white musk wraps the whole thing in a clean, slightly fuzzy finish. It reads more like a thoughtful drugstore scent than a niche statement.
