Octli
Fragrance notes
Character
The courtyard is quiet, lit only by the warm glow of lanterns that reflect off glass tumblers left on a wooden table. Octli sits in the air like a carved space between conversation and silence. Rum and bergamot arrive first, bright and slightly sweet, with lemon blossom and neroli adding a soft white floral lift that feels polished rather than loud. Petitgrain keeps the edges clean while the heart slowly shifts the scene toward something deeper. Cognac enters with a warm, rounded weight, joined by lemon zest that cuts the richness just enough. Damask rose brings a refined floral layer that never turns powdery, and the green snap of grass and juniper makes the middle feel alive and slightly untamed.
As the night settles, mahogany and oud take hold with a dry, resinous presence that feels grounded and deliberate. Sandalwood smooths the sharper edges into a creamy, almost velvet texture, while oakmoss pulls the composition toward earth and shadow. The rum accord lingers in the background, tying the top to the base with a gentle, intoxicating warmth. White floral and citrus notes remain faintly visible, like light through leaves, but the wood dominates now. Aneberg Prz Lui built a fragrance that feels masculine, aromatic, and quietly confident in this single evening hour. The final impression is oud.
