Our take

A private greenhouse holds the air still. Jasmine climbs one trellis while rose bends under its own weight nearby. Tuberose sits heavy in the center, its cream-colored petals catching the late afternoon light that filters through the glass panes. Cedar lines the bench where a shawl rests, and amber warms the space like sunlight trapped in resin. The air feels thick with pollen and wood, animalic in a way that suggests skin more than garden. Someone stands among the plants with sleeves rolled up, hair pinned back, breathing in the mixture of white flowers and aged wood without moving toward the door.

The scent does not rush to introduce itself. It sits in the room as part of the furniture, as much a fixture as the terracotta pots and the water cans left in the corner. Rose and tuberose twist together here, not fighting but occupying the same space with different temperaments. Jasmine lifts the arrangement without brightening it. Cedar grounds the floor of the scent while amber spreads across the middle, animalic and soft. The greenhouse smells lived in, as though the flowers have been breathing here for hours and the wood has absorbed every petal that dropped to the ground.

Light hits the glass and the scent feels heavier in the warmth. Tuberose leads the room now, flanked by jasmine and rose, with cedar and amber holding the edges so the white flowers cannot spill outward. It is a greenhouse at the end of a slow day, where the air is saturated with bloom and wood and the heat has nowhere to go.
