The deck of the boat shifts slightly underfoot as the scent settles into something deeper. Oakmoss and patchouli rise from the boards, earthy and damp, blending with the smooth grain of sandalwood that warms in the growing heat. A trace of vanilla softens the edges, keeping the green sharpness from feeling too severe against the salt air. The atmosphere is woody and aromatic, a mix of fresh spice and moss that feels grounded in the wood and water of the surrounding vessels.
Thomas Fontaine composed this masculine fragrance for Faberlic in 2011, and it fits this specific stretch of railing where the forest of masts meets the open sky. The air here tastes of citrus and green stems, anchored by the dark soil of the shore and the creamy wood of the hull.
