Our take

Ghala does not announce itself with confidence. The opening feels thin, with the souffle and blackberry arriving in a light wash that disappears before the heart fully settles. The Madagascar vanilla and black cherry try to take over, but the blend stays close, never pushing past the warmth of the skin. Egyptian rosewood and pomegranate add a dry, woody edge that keeps the fruit from becoming heavy, though the overall impression remains soft and a little hesitant.

The amber and sandalwood in the base give a balsamic, powdery finish that suits a quiet morning when the air is cool and the light is pale through the window. It fits a walk under bare trees or a calm afternoon indoors, where a subtle sweetness feels appropriate rather than loud. The musky, white floral trace lingers in a gentle way, asking little attention from the room. Cedar grounds the blend so it does not drift into pure sugar. This is a fragrance built around vanilla and cherry, held together by a woody, musky accord.
