Agizur
Fragrance notes
Character
Agizur opens with a brisk mix of rosemary, mint, citruses and bergamot. The herbs feel green and slightly sharp, while the citrus adds a clean brightness that keeps the entrance lively. It is a straightforward start that signals freshness without leaning into sweetness.
The heart introduces cardamom, cumin and oud. The spices bring a warm, slightly earthy texture, and the oud adds a dry woodiness that moves the scent away from the initial chill. The cumin gives it a savory edge that some will find distinctive and others may find too pronounced.
The drydown settles into white musk and cedar. The musk feels soft and powdery, while the cedar provides a dry, pale wood tone that lingers after the spices recede. The oud remains faintly present, blending with the musk to create a clean, woody finish that feels calm and understated.
Composed by Nejla Barbir and launched in 2022, this masculine scent suits daytime wear. The cumin note is the clear limitation here, as it can dominate the blend and create a rough, slightly sweaty impression that not every wearer will enjoy.
