Our take

Bergamot gives a brisk, almost metallic flicker before the white flowers descend in a heavy, warm wave. Tuberose takes command immediately, creamy and indolic, with jasmine and orange blossom softening its narcotic edges. The base of vanilla and vetiver does little to lighten the load, instead turning the whole thing into a powdery, slightly animalic musk that clings to fabric like a polite but persistent guest who missed the last train home. This is a fragrance that feels distinctly synthetic in its density, like a bouquet preserved under glass, arranged in a dim corridor where the air is still and too warm. It huddles close, sillage modest, longevity just north of respectable, which actually suits its character. Bouquet de Nuit is a winter evening scent, best worn when you want to smell like you are wearing perfume, not like you have accidentally wandered through a garden. The green note cuts through just enough to keep the vanilla from turning cloying, but the sweetness is real. This is for someone who loves big white florals but wants them tamed into something darker, more suited to a coat collar and a late dinner. Skip it if you prefer airy, transparent florals or anything that does not announce itself with tuberose’s full authority. It is not a masterpiece, but it knows exactly what it wants to be, and for a cold night, that is enough.
