Floral Sensuel by Filles des Iles opens with a bright pair of orange and mandarin orange. The citrus is immediate and clear, giving the first moments a clean lift that feels suited to open air and natural light. It is not sharp or acidic, but rounded and easy to wear.
The heart brings magnolia, gardenia and ylang-ylang together in a dense floral layer. The magnolia adds a fresh petal quality, while gardenia contributes a creamy weight and ylang-ylang supplies a soft, slightly exotic richness. The three flowers blend so closely that individual shapes are hard to separate.
Amber, vanilla, benzoin and musk form a warm, resinous base. The vanilla and benzoin add sweetness, though the amber keeps it from becoming sugary. A powdery finish sits over the musk, which smooths the heavier notes into a gentle close. The overall impression is warm, sweet and distinctly floral.
