Close To You opens with a bright spray of orange blossom and Moroccan jasmine. Ylang-ylang adds a soft, slightly creamy yellow tone, while coffee blossom brings a fresh, green edge to the white florals. The entrance feels airy and lifted, with the jasmine carrying a clean radiance that does not lean powdery.

The heart turns deeper and more textured. Tuberose grows heavy and waxy, supported by dark chocolate and benzoin. Coffee appears here in a roasted, bitter form that cuts the sweetness. Cloves and black pepper add a sharp, warm sting that keeps the florals from dominating, while labdanum contributes a resinous weight.

Benzoin continues into the base alongside tonka bean, creating a smooth, amber-like foundation. Sandalwood and cedar provide dry wood support that anchors the resin. The sweetness lingers but stays grounded by the spice and the bitter coffee, giving the drydown a warm, slightly dark character that feels enveloping.

Rosa Vaia composed this 2023 release for evenings when the air feels cool and the lighting is low. It fits someone who enjoys white florals but wants them wrapped in spice and resin rather than left bare. Wear it when the setting calls for something warm, complex, and noticeably intimate.
