Night Idol asks a lot of the wearer before it gives much back. The opening is thick with honey and mango, and the combination leans cloying until the saffron cuts through. That first stretch can feel heavy and a bit messy on skin that runs warm.
Arturetto Landi composed this for Coreterno in 2024. The floral bouquet in the heart stays quiet beneath the surface, letting the base do the talking. Vanilla and ambergris add a golden warmth, while oud and leather pull the blend toward something darker and more resinous.
The metallic accord in the list is real. It gives the perfume a cool edge that keeps the sweetness from feeling entirely organic. Powdery musk rounds out the drydown, but the animalic streak remains present, making the whole composition feel dense and a bit untamed.
This is a scent for someone walking through a cold city night, coat collar up and streets damp underfoot. It suits a moody dinner or a late gathering where the air is warm inside but the windows show the dark. Wear it when you want to feel wrapped in something rich and unapologetic.
