The drydown settles into a dry, woody base of vetiver and cedar, but the mint and galbanum linger like stubborn grass stains on white trousers. This is the scent of a croquet lawn just after a sudden rain shower, damp earth, crushed herbs, and a lingering sense of cool formality.
The fragrance feels deliberately green and herbal, fresh but not sweet, and leans more toward naturalistic than synthetic. It is firmly in the niche-lite bracket, competent but not groundbreaking. The longevity is a genuine problem, barely grazing three hours before fading to a skin scent, and the sillage hovers close, making it more of a private pleasure than a statement. Wear it on mild, sunlit days when you want to smell clean without smelling like soap. It is a springtime exclusive in my book, best suited to daytime and utterly lost after dusk.
