Hazelnut brings a round, nutty softness to the heart. Lily-of-the-valley and peony float above the richer notes with a fresh, dewy feel. Rose and jasmine add a classic floral warmth that blends into the nuts and spice.
Vanilla and tonka bean create a thick, sugary base. Cacao adds a dry, bitter chocolate touch that stops the sweetness from becoming flat. Sandalwood and cedar give the foundation a smooth, polished wood character.
The rum note can feel sharp and synthetic against the delicate florals. The cacao and nutty accords clash with the light peony instead of supporting it. The blend feels crowded, and the promised pistachio is nowhere to be found.
