Our take

Immortal is a daytime fragrance built for bright mornings and open air. The opening pairs crisp apple with the green snap of black currant leaf, a fresh start that feels clean rather than sugary. Ylang-ylang, honeysuckle, jasmine, and peony follow in a white and yellow floral mix that stays light on the skin. Cedar and vanilla anchor the base, joined by suede and a faint malt warmth that keeps the flowers from floating away entirely. The profile is fruity, woody, and powdery in equal measure, with a leather edge that never dominates. It suits someone who wants a floral that does not collapse into heavy sweetness once the sun is out.

The drydown is where Immortal earns its name. Vanilla and cedar settle into a soft, powdery wood, while suede adds a gentle texture that feels more expensive than the bright opening promised. Malt deepens the base just enough to stop the vanilla from reading like candy. The problem is the balance. The floral heart is crowded, and the individual flowers blur together instead of standing apart. Ylang-ylang and honeysuckle should give character, yet they are drowned by peony and jasmine. The result is pleasant but indistinct, a bouquet that knows its shapes but forgets its details. If you want a clear floral signature with a recognizable heart, this one will feel too vague to satisfy.
