Narcissus Mirage 幻镜水仙
Fragrance notes
Morning light hits a stone courtyard where a shallow pool sits still. Violet leaves brush the edge of the water, their green edges cool against the damp air. A fine mist hangs over the surface, captured in that first breath of dew. The opening feels crisp and close to the skin, a quiet entrance that does not rush to announce itself. It stays near the water, letting the air do the work.
Narcissus takes over as the heart settles, its yellow petals heavy and slightly honeyed among the white bloom of magnolia and jasmine. The flowers do not float lightly here. They press into the air with a dense, powdery weight, softened by the slow rise of sandalwood beneath them. Ambergris and musk wrap the base in a warm, amber haze that feels smooth rather than sharp. The composition leans into that thick floral center, which is exactly where it begins to falter. The magnolia and jasmine lack definition, blending into a single creamy blur that loses the narcissus entirely. What should be a clear mirror of the flower becomes a flat, indistinct sweetness that never quite resolves.
