Character
The sun sits high over a wooden deck where salt air drifts in from the water and warm planks hold the heat of the morning. Someone leans against the railing with a glass in hand while pink pepper lifts first, bright and slightly biting, cutting through the lazy humidity. Jasmine follows without waiting, its white petals soft against the sharper spice, and the two move together through the air as sandalwood begins to ground the space beneath them. The wood does not rush. It settles into the boards and into the air, turning the pepper and the flower into something calm and steady. A faint powdery touch blurs the edges, and a quiet musky warmth wraps the scene so the scent feels less like a thing applied and more like part of the air itself. Sweetness stays low, just enough to round the pepper, never enough to weigh the moment down.
This is a deck where the ocean is close but the wood underfoot matters more, where spice and flower belong to the heat and the grain, and where the air smells of pink pepper, jasmine, and sandalwood drifting together in the sun.
