A sunlit courtyard in the middle of the day holds still as Hindi OUD by Illuminum moves through it. Frangipani and gardenia arrive first, creamy and smooth, with osmanthus adding a soft apricot touch that feels like warm air resting on skin. Jasmine deepens the white floral accord while palisander rosewood lends a dry, faintly rosy wood that keeps the flowers from turning heavy. Oud sits quietly in the background, resinous and earthy, never loud or medicinal, shaped by the surrounding petals into something calm and approachable. Musk in the base rounds every edge, letting the florals glide close rather than drift, so the scent stays near the body as it shifts from bright to gently woody.
Michael Boadi composed this unisex release for daytime wear, and the tropical, lactonic air suits a slow morning or a bright afternoon without overwhelming the space. It asks for someone who enjoys a floral that wears wood as a subtle shadow instead of a dominating force.
