Our take

The biggest drawback here is the leather. It is not the smooth, polished kind found in a warm jacket. It smells like a stiff, chemical strip meant to mimic a saddle, and it dominates the heart of the composition. This synthetic edge pushes the entire fragrance into a harsh territory that can easily overwhelm the senses. It lacks the natural grace one expects from a forest-inspired scent. Instead of feeling like a walk through nature, the middle phase feels manufactured and aggressive. This is a dealbreaker for those who prioritize realistic materials over a bold statement. It feels like a laboratory experiment rather than a tribute to the outdoors.

Despite that rough middle, the opening fir needle is piercingly green and sharp, cutting through the air with a crisp, resinous bite. As it settles, the oakmoss and amber in the base try to mend the damage caused by the leather. The amber adds a necessary warmth that prevents the moss from feeling too damp and cold. It creates a slightly dirty, earthy foundation that clings to the skin. The ozonic accord tries to lift the weight of the animalic notes, but the synthetic leather keeps dragging it back down into a heavy, murky shadow. It is a rugged, unrefined profile that refuses to apologize for its chemical sharpness, sitting uncomfortably between a fresh morning and a polluted evening.
