Siesta Sunset
Fragrance notes
Character
Strawberry and peach lead the first spray, brightened by Italian orange and white grapefruit that keep the fruit from feeling heavy. Almond slips in beside them, adding a soft, rounded edge to the tart opening. Calabrian bergamot lifts the top with a clean citrus thread that carries the sweetness forward without turning sharp.
The heart moves into white and yellow florals. Tuberose and orange blossom bring a lush, heady quality, while lysylang and amyl salicylate smooth the petals into something creamier. Coconut and African ginger twist the floral center toward a gentle spice and a milky warmth that feels relaxed and open, like a slow afternoon outdoors in warm weather.
Composed by Anthony Lane and released in 2022, this unisex scent leans into its lactonic and sweet accords with confidence. Vanilla, musk, styrax, patchouli, and cardamom anchor the blend, but the ginger and spice stay quiet against the dominant coconut and florals. The limitation here is the balance. The fruit and coconut can overwhelm the more interesting floral and spicy notes beneath them, leaving little room for the base to show its character.
