Our take

Extreme Power opens with a sharp lemon and cedar snap that feels bright and dry at once. The citrus is not sweet or candied, and the wood gives it a firm backbone that keeps the start from floating away. Nigerian ginger and cinnamon soon join the mix, adding a warm, peppery heat that sits close to the skin and never turns cloying. Neroli softens the edges just enough to keep the spices from feeling harsh, but this remains a dry composition overall.

The amber and guaiac wood base pulls the scent toward a resinous, slightly powdery finish. Frankincense adds a clean, faintly smoky lift that pairs well with the black tea note, which reads more like dried leaves than a brewed cup. The overall impression is a citrus spice that gradually settles into a warm, woody amber with a polished, slightly formal feel. It suits cooler days and office settings where you want to smell put together without reaching for something heavy or dark.

The blend leans synthetic in the opening minutes, and the ginger can feel a bit sharp if you apply too much at once. It also lacks the natural depth that makes similar compositions feel lived in over time. If you prefer fragrances that smell entirely natural and smooth from the first spray, this one may not be the right fit.
