Our take

Clementine and white grapefruit arrive first, bright and tart against a sharp green lift from galbanum. Bitter orange adds a pithy depth that keeps the opening from feeling like a simple citrus splash. Dyer’s greenweed threads through with a hay-like bitterness that grounds the fruit. Coffee blossom enters quickly, its delicate floral side feeling nothing like a brewed cup. Champaca and frangipani bring a lush, creamy yellow floral character that grows heavy on the skin. Tuberose and ylang-ylang push the heart toward an opulent, almost tropical density. Real coffee notes sit quietly in the background, more aromatic than roasted.

Cacao pod and bourbon vanilla turn the base warm and slightly powdery. Tonka bean adds a soft almond-like sweetness that blends into the resins. Patchouli provides an earthy shadow beneath the vanilla. The overall impression is a dense floral gourmand that feels suited to a dim room with cool air and a heavy sweater. It is rich rather than cloying, with the green opening acting as a brief contrast instead of a lasting structure. The champaca and tuberose dominate the middle, leaving the citrus far behind as the cacao
