Character
Orange arrives first, bright and clean, followed quickly by cinnamon that feels dry rather than sweet. The spice does not bite. It sits flat against the citrus and prepares the ground for what follows.
Amber appears in both the heart and the base, and the material feels thick here. Styrax and benzoin add a resinous weight that pulls the jasmine down so it never floats or turns fresh.
Vanilla and musk round the bottom, but the vanilla stays pale. The powdery accord sits across the whole wear and keeps the edges soft rather than sharp.
Sunlight hits a terracotta floor through a high window, and the warm air carries a bowl of orange slices placed next to a wooden cup filled with ground cinnamon.
