Our take

A terrace hangs above a dark canal, the water catching scattered light from the far bank. The air carries blackberry and black currant, their juice thick against the opening rose. It is a fruit that feels weighed down by its own sugar, not lifted by it. Peach enters soon after, soft and blurring the edges of the berries, while galbanum cuts a narrow green line through the sweetness. Oud and patchouli anchor the heart, dry and resinous, with vetiver adding a clean earthiness that keeps the fruit from collapsing into a pure dessert.

Violet leaf drifts through the base, its cool shade meeting oakmoss and vanilla. Ambrocenide pushes a warm, amber weight against the skin, and musk smooths the edges until the composition feels sealed and heavy. The ozonic and aquatic threads stay faint, more suggestion than movement, while the spicy accord hums quietly beneath the surface. Everything here is dense, layered, and unwilling to move quickly through its own richness.

The fruit never fully recedes, and the vanilla leans sweeter than the green opening promises. That sweetness eventually clashes with the oakmoss, creating a tension that feels unresolved rather than complex. The scent becomes a little cluttered where the berries meet the amber, and the clarity of the galbanum gets lost in the weight.
