Bohemia
Fragrance notes
Character
Bohemia opens with incense and neroli, a pairing that places a cool, slightly bitter citrus beside a dry, resinous smoke. The initial impression is clean and sharp before the heart notes arrive with raspberry, cinnamon, rose, and peach. The fruit here is dense and dark, with the raspberry providing a tart edge that the peach softens into a rounded, heavy sweetness. Cinnamon adds a warm, powdery heat that pushes the rose into a deep, red tone rather than a fresh floral one. The spices do not brighten the composition. They weigh it down and pull the fruit toward a baked, concentrated texture.
The base settles into patchouli, amber, musk, and a skin accord. The patchouli is earthy and dark, supporting the amber as it spreads a golden, balsamic warmth across the drydown. Musk keeps the texture smooth while the skin note makes the entire structure feel intimate and close to the body. The sweetness from the heart lingers and mixes with the smoky accords, creating a dense, woody trail that feels appropriate for a cold evening or a dim, indoor setting. The composition is very heavy on the amber and patchouli, which can make the raspberry and peach feel slightly synthetic against the natural spice.
