Our take

Rebelle opens on strawberry, ginger and plum, a candied fruit burst that leans gourmand from the very first spray, ginger adding a faint peppery bite underneath all that fruit. Cacao arrives quickly, bittersweet and dark, cutting the candy back immediately, orchid and heliotrope adding a powdery floral undertone that pulls the fruit toward something muskier and less like straightforward candy.

Coffee is the real turn in the base, grounding the sweetness in something bitter and roasted, while patchouli, amber and musk thicken the finish into a dark, dense gourmand with almost no floral trace left in it. That coffee and patchouli combination carries most of the fragrance's personality, bittersweet and warm long after the fruity top has faded into memory, dark roast sitting over dry patchouli like grounds left at the bottom of a cup.

Staying power is strong, the gourmand core hanging on well past the opening, and the trail settles into a warm cocoon, most present to whoever leans in close enough for a proper hug. Winter suits Rebelle best, when the coffee and amber feel richest against cold skin. It rewards someone who genuinely likes coffee and cacao in perfume rather than someone who only enjoys fruit at the top and wants the sweetness to stay light throughout the whole wear.
