The opening feels crowded. Pink pepper, green apple, grapefruit, lemon, and yuzu all arrive at once, and the effect is busy rather than bright. The citrus lacks a clear shape, so the first few minutes read as a blur of sharp edges that do not settle into a single direction. It is a loud start that tries to cover too much ground at the same time.
Violet leaf and lavender enter to cool the surface, with cardamom and ginger adding a mild heat beneath. The heart is cleaner than the top, but the transition feels rushed. Haitian vetiver, musk, sandalwood, cedar, and light amber form a base that is woody, musky, and faintly powdery. The amber is pale and never rich, which keeps the drydown from feeling heavy.
