Our take

Moon is a fragrance for the man who wants to smell like a library that has been left open to the night air. The opening makes the case immediately. Iris and lavender arrive with a cool, powdered elegance, but the juniper berries and cardamom prevent it from feeling like a relic of the past. It is a sophisticated start that feels intentional rather than decorative.

The heart deepens the argument with cocoa and amber. These notes bring a gentle warmth that wraps around the sandalwood and cinnamon. It smells like sitting in a leather chair with a cup of spiced drinking chocolate nearby. The bergamot and geranium keep the blend lifted so the richness never becomes heavy or flat.

Composed by Maximiliano Cifuentes, the base is where the fragrance stakes its claim. Oud and tobacco sit alongside Virginia cedar and leather to create a dry, resinous foundation. The inclusion of Iso E Super adds a modern, clean expansiveness to the patchouli and vetiver. It feels structured and serious.

This is a scent for a quiet street after the sun has gone down, when the air is crisp enough to see your breath and the streetlights cast long shadows over brick buildings. The powder settles into the wood.
