Fragrance notes
Character
The opening is a sharp bite of black currant, bright and slightly tart against the prickly lift of pink pepper. It feels immediate, a cool snap that cuts through the air.
Jasmine and cyclamen sit in the heart, soft and clean, while iris adds a smooth, powdery texture that blurs the edges of the flowers. The floral side is restrained rather than lush.
Oud and patchouli anchor the base, heavy and woody, wrapped in amber and vanilla that lend a warm, resinous weight. The marine accord from the record drifts through it, a faint salty air that keeps the deep woods from feeling too enclosed.
The composition leans on a synthetic edge in the pepper and the sea note, which can feel thin next to the dense oud. The vanilla and amber are sweet but lack the depth to fully round out the sharper synthetic facets.
