Fragrance notes
Sunlight hits the stone walls of a quiet courtyard in Cappadocia. A single thread of saffron drifts through the warm air, metallic and bright against the pale rock. It does not dominate the space. It simply marks the arrival of something heavier moving in from the garden path.
Jasmine and rose begin to unfold near a low wooden table. The flowers feel dense here, their petals slick with a smooth layer of butter that rounds every edge. Orris adds a cool, powdered hush to the air, softening the petals until the entire courtyard smells of cream and silk pressed together in the heat.
The ground itself seems to exhale. Indian sandalwood rises from the flagstones, smooth and dry, while vanilla absolute pools in the corners like warm resin. Frankincense, benzoin, and myrrh climb the walls in a slow, balsamic haze. The smoke is thick but never sharp, mingling with the floral cream above until the boundary between flower and resin disappears completely.
You run a hand along the stone and the surface feels oily with benzoin and orris. The saffron is a faint memory now, replaced by sandalwood and myrrh settling deeper into the warm air. Vanilla absolute clings to the sleeves of your jacket, and the frankincense curls higher as the courtyard holds this exact mixture of white petals and ancient resin without asking anything to change or move elsewhere.
